The MiSAL has undergone  Extreme Redesign.
Outstanding orders for this model will be filled soon with a new composite molded pod (fiberglass/Kevlar/Carbon fiber) allowing for even lighter weight, better appearance and even better performance (and a lower price too!).

The MiSAL 2 (short for "Micro Side Arm Launch") is a Discus Launched Glider (DLG) that spans 32 or 40-inches and weighs in at an astonishingly light 3.5 ounces in the R/E version.

The MiSAL 2 now sports a 32" wingspan as well as an option for a 40" wing and the option for flaperons on both wing versions

What makes the MiSAL unique in the Micro DLG market is that it is currently available ONLY as 100% Ready To Fly (RTF).  This means that when you order a MiSAL, it arrives at your door needing only to have the wing bolted on and your transmitter programmed.

The MiSAL utilizes a full composite molded fuselage like those found on larger DLG's.  This helps to improve performance, and keep the flying weight low (it looks so much better too).  It also includes a lightweight tapered carbon boom and a removable horizontal stab and elevator.

The wing and tail-feathers are vacuum bagged for lightweight and maximum performance.

What this all means is that the MiSAL is able to handle the strongest of  DLG throws.  The MiSAL launches straight and true (like a missile), and with good technique, the MiSAL needs no launch preset.
