The Locust is a joint project between the US Army's Battle Command Battle Lab, Continental Controls & Design and EdgeRC Inc. to develop a low cost, low observable, rugged battlefield surveillance aircraft.

EdgeRC is proud to have been selected to develop the airframe for this project.

Airframe/Payload Requirements:

• Low noise/silent operation

• Low visual signature

• 1-1/2 hour + on-station/loiter duration

• Light weight single solder operation

• Durrable-100+mission survivability

• Payload to include TGE/GPS autopilot, full color live video feed, secure Data Link Modem and more...

• Full autonomous operation

• 18-inch maximum span
