Designed as an unlimited electric combat wing, the
Devastator is possibly the greatest conventional flying wing ever
designed for full contact combat and general sport use.
Made of CNC cut EPP foam and using one of the strongest carbon fiber tube spars the Devastator is as tough as it gets. The Devastator is designed to be powered by inexpensive S-400 motor systems with exceptional performance. However, equip it with a high-powered brushless motor system and speeds well over 100MPH are normal!!! The Devastator will not develop the dreaded ‘Flap’ at high speeds like many other wings, but retains its durability with an ultra-tough CF spar that spans all but the outer 4 inches of each wing tip. Combine this with coroplast wing tips, precut and sanded balsa elevons, and an ultra-durable CNC machined aluminum motor mount, you have the very best in performance, durability, and quality unmatched in the sport. The Devastators airfoil is designed from the start to give the best of all worlds in performance. The Devastator can be flown at speeds well beyond those of other EPP wings, but will slowdown to a crawl during landing! But it gets better. With a little practice, the Devastator will thermal soar with the lightly built F5J electric sailplanes. You get it all when you get a Devastator!
